UZI PROTECTOR TRITIUM WATCH

The Uzi Protector is a black matte nylon-cased quartz watch with a unidirectional rotating bezel and a mineral glass crystal. The Protector's tritium light source, which never needs batteries, charging, or any form of servicing or maintenance, will glow continuously for 25 years without first being exposed to light.

Tiny, airtight vials of phosphorescent dye are mounted on the watch hands and face. Sealed under high pressure, they are resistant to water, oil and the most corrosive materials. A minute quantity of tritium lights up the dye.

The tritium system yields a cool consistent glow that does not fade away in a few minutes or hours. If nighttime visibility matters to you, Uzi's Swiss Tritium, which is far brighter than competing systems, is the way to go. The protector utilizes tritium tubes at the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock hours and on the hour and minute hand (two orange tubes mark the 12). There are also conventional superluminova paint markers at the other numbers on the dial and on the second hand.
